2023/24 COMPETITIVE Fees
Our Competitive programs have been developed to provide all players access to developmentally appropriate training with professional trainers and coaches.
Clippers FC competitive teams have professional coaches who provide training at practices as well as coaching at each game.
- All Montclair Competitive players will be required to purchase a uniform. Mandatory uniform includes
- Home jersey, away jersey, game shorts, home socks, away socks and practice jersey.
- Estimate: $175 paid to Soccer Pro at time of purchase
U8 Development Program (under 8 years old)
Clippers FC Registration Fees Player Registration Fall and Spring League Registration Team Training 2 times per week: 1 Volunteer Coach led and 1 Professional 24/7 Soccer Academy Coach led 1 Team Summer Camp (1 week) Fees also cover: Insurance, fields, field set-up and maintenance, program administrative expenses, general and administrative expenses. |

Fee details:
Clippers FC fees are set assuming a regular soccer season, including practices, camps, and competitions.
Families pay a portion of the fee when they accept a roster spot and pay the remainder either as an upfront lump sum or in five installments.
This initial payment will be non-refundable to cover club fixed costs. Our refund policy applies to all Competitive players who accept a spot on a roster. A player who accepts an invitation to play with the Club commits to play for the entire year.
Families waiting for Financial Aid requests to be approved will be given additional time to complete the process.
Notes:
- Costs above do not include transportation, meals and hotel costs for away games and/or tournaments.
- Team expenses will vary depending on the number and types of tournaments played, additional training and other factors controlled by the team.
- Teams may opt to host fundraisers to offset Tournament and Team Fees.

Financial Aid Program
Clippers FC is committed to working with families to be sure every child can enjoy a soccer experience with our club. With this commitment we have developed various levels of programs with the intention that families can find one that best fits their financial abilities and child’s ambitions. We strive to have each of our programs meet or exceed the comparable standards for similar programs found in the Bay Area.
